Ride Cincinnati
For five years, thousands of cycling participants of all abilities and ages enjoy bike riding in the annual non-competitive, family-oriented Ride Cincinnati event, while at the same time, raising important funds for Breast Cancer Research.
The Ride Cincinnati’s scenic course begins in the southern corner of downtown Cincinnati at Yeatman’s Cove in Sawyer Point and continues over the pedestrian-only Purple People Bridge, then meanders through several cities in Northern Kentucky. The course returns cyclists back to the Ride Cincinnati Celebration Party at Sawyer Point.
Destination markers along the course guide participants to choose the length of their own personal ride.
The 2012 Ride Cincinnati event will take place on Sunday, June 10th with the first cyclists leaving from the Yeatman’s Cove starting line at 6:30 a.m.
Ride Cincinnati is the first cycling event to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Ride Cincinnati was founded in 2007 by Dr. Harvey Harris, his family and two friends, whose families have been touched by breast cancer. This event is dedicated to the life of Marlene Harris and all others who have, and continue to be, affected by this terrible disease.
Online registration will remain open until Friday, June 8th at 8:00pm.
After Monday, June 4th at 5:00p.m. the registration price will increase to $45 per adult and $20 for children 12 and under.
